Ayodhya to have the World’s first 7-star Vegetarian hotelUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Ayodhya will soon have the world’s first 7-star vegetarian hotel. The hotel will be one of the 25 proposals received to set up hotels in Ayodhya. The religious town has witnessed a flood of devotees in the past few months and currently can house more than 50,000 devotees.
The chief minister highlighted the works being undertaken in Ayodhya to develop the infrastructure and said that very soon Ayodhya would be able to accommodate more devotees. The hotel will serve only vegetarian food, and during the week of the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony, no non-vegetarian items will be served in the city. The hotel chains in Ayodhya have also made special menus that include delicacies of millets in line with the International Year of Nutritious Cereals, 2023.
The hotel industry in Ayodhya is booming ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony, with hotels in the city already booked at up to 80% of their capacity. The rent of hotel rooms has also skyrocketed up to five times, and availability has become a concern. Around three to five lakh people are likely to throng the city to witness the historic ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony.
